SPOC is a tool for all those responsible for packaging design such as packaging engineers, packaging manufacturers, marketing and sales staff. The CO₂ emissions determined with SPOC are only for internal use or for exchange between partners in the process chain, insofar as they are also familiar with SPOC. Results of SPOC are not suitable for publication to the public, since according to the standards for publications, pure CO₂ data may not be passed on without interpretation and external verification.

The online seminar "Quantifying Sustainable Packaging" teaches the participants how the most ecologically sensible packaging for different products can be determined mathematically. The 1.5-day seminars are compact in terms of content and with high learning value. Currently, they are carried out online, which is why they are corona-independent and without travel expenses.
