Online calculator for sustainable packaging

SPOC = SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING ONLINE CALCULATOR

SPOC is a tool for all those responsible for packaging design such as packaging engineers, packaging manufacturers, marketing and sales staff. The CO2 emissions determined with SPOC are only for internal use or for exchange between partners in the process chain, insofar as they are also familiar with SPOC. Results of SPOC are not suitable for publication to the public, since according to the standards for publications, pure CO2 data may not be passed on without interpretation and external verification.

Online Seminars

SPOC is easy to use, so the CO2 emissions of packaging are quickly preserved. In order to properly assess the results, it is helpful to understand what is behind the calculations. Therefore, it is recommended to attend a training course. For this purpose, online seminars on the topic of "Quantifying the sustainability of packaging" are regularly offered.

The online seminar "Quantifying Sustainable Packaging" teaches the participants how the most ecologically sensible packaging for different products can be determined mathematically. The 1.5-day seminars are compact in terms of content and with high learning value. Currently, they are carried out online, which is why they are corona-independent and without travel expenses. The next seminar dates can be found below. Registration for the seminars as well as further inquiries about the seminar contents are possible via the contact form on this website or directly by e-mail to burth@hm.edu stating your name and company.
